Personality
Overview: Like the typical unicorn, Arich is drawn to purity. He often associates with those who he deems pure in thought and heart, but he has some difficulty telling with certain individuals. He holds himself to very high standards and often expects others to be able to reach them even when they are beyond their capabilities.
Overall, however, he is oblivious to the world of human interactions. Unicorns rarely speak and are often very solitary creatures, so social frivolities are all but unknown to him. He is fundamentally good but also used to little else other than solitude and elf culture.
He is young for his kind, and considered rowdy-- the act of traveling, even in the company of an elf, outside of the vast uninhabited forests that the unicorns call home is absolutely ridiculous. Ironically enough, by human standards he is extremely calm. As time goes on, however, he becomes more and more aware of human customs.

History
One day, upon visiting an area of the woods more often frequented by elves, he found a small elf child- Yoshiamito Iken- covered in dirt and seeking help. He quickly took to accompanying the boy wherever he went, leaving for longer periods of time while he was studying alchemy. Eventually, nine years later, he helped the boy avenge his hometown. By this point he had established himself as a guardian and friend of the young elf who had grown up before his eyes.
This was his first time being ridden and signified a change in his lifestyle. For the first time, the unicorn took human form and learned to walk. He began venturing out of his homeland with his friend Yoshiamito. They are currently still questing and through this relationship Arich has become more accustomed to the human world and has grown to see things that most other unicorns could only imagine.
