[Yato]

Yato walked down to the docks, his hands stuffed into his jersey as he walked. Suddenly, he heard his phone ring. He swiftly grabbed it from his pocket, opening it as he pulled it to his ear. "The Yato god, at your service! What do ya need?" he said, almost screaming into the phone. He face fell when he heard the news. "Be right there." Closing the phone, he looked around. "Yukine!"

[Yukine]

Hearing Yato's voice, Yukine's expression turned into a small scowl. "What now..?" He mumbled and walked over, his hands in the pockets of his jacket. His gaze showed small concern as to what Yato needed him for. What does this jersy wearing stray god want now... He thought to himself in irrtancy.

"What?"

[Yato]

Seeing his regalia appear, Yato gave a toothy grin. "We've got a call. Up for some phantom slaying?" he questioned, rubbing his hands together. "They gave us the task. The more respected gods have the perfect life." he mumbled, his eyes narrowing.

[Yukine]

"Not really.." He muttered mostly to himself. "What exactly is the job? From what you're telling me I'd have to say it's got to do with phantoms." He inquired. This guy literally just went all over the place to try and spread his name. Of course Yukine understand well why he did it. He wanted a shrine and to be a well known god.

His dreams are somewhat far-fetched with this progress..

[Yato]

"I got a call that there is a phantom roaming around here. It is likely it will depress some human and make it want to die. They told us to stop it. Let's go." The dark-haired boy lifted his hand and snapped, teleporting the two to where they were to suppose to be. Yato looked around, seeing a tiny phantom wobbling around. "Did they call us here ... for this!?" he shrieked, his mouth gaping.

[Yukine]

Yukine sighed and looked around the place Yato had teleported them to see a small phantom. The look on Yukine's expession was confusion mixed with shame, more or less for Yato. "Looks like you've really let your reputation fall short.." He mumbled.

If he's getting calls for this obviously people don't expect much.. He's a stray god so why is he so shocked. I mean he can fight but.. He sighed and shrugged. "What now.. Are we really going to bother with this thing..?"

[Yato]

"Oh, shut up!" Yato said, narrowing his eyes at his regalia. "We may as well dispose of it so it does not get bigger-" He stopped, hearing a noise from behind Yukine and himself. He turned around, seeing a much bigger phantom, shaped like a frog.

"Oh, there it is! Ha ha!" he exclaimed, grinning. "Sekki!" he exclaimed, holding his arm out to catch his regalia's sword form.

[Yukine]

He flinched a bit when Yato yelled at him and his expression showed frustration. "This little thing is a joke.. But if you say so." Yukine turned around to see the large frog phantom. His amber eyes widened and he took a few steps back.

He lifted his hand to create a barrier but before he could do anything he was called and he took the shape of a sword. He was in the familiar white glowing area with virtually nothing around him except small gray objects floating around him.

[Yato]

Yato gripped the handle of the katana, staring at the frog phantom. "Should we make this fun or end it quickly? What do you say, Yuki?" he said. He probably look crazy, but in reality, he could talk to Yukine in his sword form.

The phantom jumped closer, and Yato threw out the sword, hitting it several times while waiting for Yukine's reply.

[Yukine]

"Quickly. Definitely we should finish this up now." He replied. Why prolong the process. Yukine had no doubt Yato was able to defeat this thing, he'd done so before. This was probably like a sport for Yato. "Finish it, Yato." He readied himself.

Yukine really just wanted to get back into his other form and go do something else. All this phantom fighting was becoming tedious to him. But he knew as a regalia it was his job to help Yato fight these.

[Yato]

Yato gave a grunt. Holding the blade downward. He lifted in to his chest, parallel to the ground. With two fingers, he began the rend.

"You who would desecrate this land of the rising sun!" He lowered his two fingers, running them down the blade as he continued, a white glow rising from it. "With my advent, I, the Yato god ... lay waste with this Sekki ... and expel this vast defilement!" Yato's fingers reached the bottom of the blade, moving his hand. He lifted the katana up before running at the phantom with great speed.

Yato lifted the blade above his head as he neared it. When the blade hit the phantom, he yelled, "Rend!" and the phantom split in half. Pausing in his landing pose, the phantom went into an odd shape of symbols and circles before disappearing.

"Return, Sekki." he said, dropping the blade so Yukine could come to his human form.
