Mechka is a very outgoing person with a love of life and other people. She finds peace in getting her hands in the dirt and is often seen with scraped up knees and numerous scars on her feet, but she never seems to be too badly injured.
She spends a good portion of her time gardening and selling her herbs in the marketplace. She also has a love for a variety of teas and loves to serve them to her visitors, free of charge. She is incapable of all but the simplest of spells but has skills in potion brewing. She doesn't like living alone and often talks people in the marketplace into coming to visit her.
On the negative side, however, she is often impatient with others and is known to have a fairly sharp tongue and quick temper. She is also not above manipulation and scheming, often giving those she dislikes tea infused with poison ivy or something of the sort.
Recently, a nasty old goose has taken to sleeping in her garden and she can't get the thing to leave.
Mechka was born the only child of Marie and Bore Antonov, the latest in a long line of healers who utilize plants to help others and make a steady income. It has long been rumored that the Antonov family has some traces of witch blood that help them keep their garden in immaculate condition. These rumors are absolutely true.
At the age of sixteen she left to make her own home in another part of the kingdom and now resides about two miles outside of a small marketplace. She's not technically supposed to be living there, but no one really complains. She knows how to get what she wants.
