Ever since the empires settled in the new land 100 years ago, they have all gained their own customs and ways of living. Although at first all seemed peaceful it was inevitable the three empires would find matters to dispute.
The three cities consist of Triose the empire of cultivation, proud of it's literacy and history, which took on the griffin as it's empire's symbol. Sylverant the empire of trade and potion brewing, proud of it's armour and weaponry, which took on the phoenix as it's empire's symbol. Lastly Valere the empire of livestock and the rowdiest one of the bunch,, which took on the dragon as it's empire's symbol. Valere deals a lot with Alchemy as well.
As time passed by humans were becoming restless of sorcerers, aristocrats, elves, mages, and particularlyanyone not of the same status as them overpopulating the cities. Most humans figured it was hopeless to fight against such impossible odds so sought out shelter in a small village outside the three capitals. Those who stayed dealt with the growing burden. Although grew angry of the discrimination and belittlement those with magic seemed to give them.
The trinity of empires began to lack supplies and wanted more land for their empire. Sylverant suggested merging the three kingdoms into one yet the other two empires, appalled by the idea, denied against it. Triose began to demand more land, insisting cultivation was of more importance to feed the citizens. Valere and Sylverant, angry, once again denied yet another idea. Valere was the last to suggest plausibly stretching the perimeters of the kingdoms to allow more land but there was ongoing dispute that if they were to do that they would be destroying most of the land around them used to harvest their resources.
As the three could not come into agreement frustration grew and patience became thin. A war went on for 2 years that destroyed a good chunk of the land. Years later, to this current time, there is ongoing rumours that said war may be repeated once more as the feud has not settled between all the empires.
Hatred and irritation have become common emotions between settlers of each kingdom towards their empire neighbours. How long will it be before everyone breaks down and new war arises, or will new threats arrive as the kingdoms grow in frustration and decrease in patience.
